Activities

The majority of our activities focus upon three key themes: Sisterhood, Family and Community

Sisterhood – Moms Night Out events often include fun weekend activities centered around the arts, painting/crafting, wine-tasting activities, dining out, movies and other special events. Home Aloners breakfasts held during the weekdays allow for a moment to socialize while the kids are at school.

Family – Events such as our Annual Fall Festival, Educational Summit, Couples Night and Black Marriage Day serve to foster friendships for our members and their families – particularly for those who are new to the Greater St. Louis region. Playdates and activities geared toward toddlers and kids allow both parents and children to cultivate and fortify friendships that remain beyond the elementary years.

Community – We support efforts to raise awareness and support causes “near and dear” to our heart by participating in both local and national service events such as Shot at Life, (focuses on providing vital childhood immunizations) and Sista Strut (local event promoting the significance of breast cancer awareness among African American women).
